This piece is a Huey Chopper Gunship. I was commissioned to draw this as a retirement gift for a pilot who flew them in Viet Nam. Finding reference material to work from to complete the drawing was a challenge. I couldn't find a Huey anywhere near where I live to use for reference photos so I had to work from about 6 different photos I scraped up.  I had to hunt online for a website that had decent photos I could work from of the miniguns which was a good 2 hours of hunting. These were then used as reference and drawn at the angles needed to complete my drawing.
 
The original was created in all stippling on Cresent Hot Pressed Illustration Board.
