"At Anchor"

This is a graphite pencil drawing done as an attempt at serious pencil work. In this image my focus was on portraying realistic water in pencil. I've also explored the possibilities of larger background landscapes focusing on aerial perspective. The cloud forms were applied with rubbed graphite and a gum eraser. I find graphite work exhilarating and feel a warm bond in using pencil. I'm happy with the achieved results, and I hope you like it.
