"Choctaw Barrel Racer"

This is a very cool looking horse and rider from Oklahoma.  Doing the combination of barrels, the fast moving horse in a
healed over position and flying dirt is a really fun challenge and a subject well-suited for the Pen & Ink medium.  Flying debris,
 in this case dirt,  is really a challenge to an Artist.
This piece was entered in the California State Fair and won an Award of Merit. "Choctaw" was also sold there which I am
very proud to say. I really enjoyed doing this drawing as it presented some new lessons and taught me a few things.
